Franco Fridays: En Route

"What should I blog about today, KJ?"

"It's Friday!  France!"

"Oh, I thought it was Thursday...".

It's been a really busy couple of weeks.  Is that a good excuse?

I thought I'd be posting pictures of our time with the Punjabi Church today, but of course I took a lot of pictures of our time between Sacre Couer and arriving at the gathering of the Punjabi Church that evening.  Of course.

There was this guy, performing for the crowds around the basilica.  He was pretty impressive, and he certainly had a nice backdrop for his performance.  He looks like he's floating over Paris; he's standing on a stone column, maybe 3x3 feet?  It was pretty small.

And here are two more photo-bombing pigeons for your viewing pleasure.  I was pretty taken with the hazy view of the Eiffel Tower from Montmartre.

Just a-walking... I think we all found it interesting that you could leave behind the teeming crowds of tourists at Sacre Coeur and be practically alone in the streets in less than half a mile.

We had a little time before we needed to be at Punjabi Church, so Parker took us to the "I Love You" wall.  I'm not sure how many languages are represented here.
It was in a pretty, secluded spot, nice and quiet.

It was then off to the Metro where I took a lot of pictures of the trains speeding past.

Next week:  Punjabi Church, Indian food, great singing and sharing of testimonies.
