Spring Photography Challenge - Week 4

It wasn't hard for me to fulfill the requirements for flowers this week.  I have thoroughly enjoyed Spring this year and tried to make time to capture all the fresh blooms.

One of the first nice days after the time change I got out to take some pictures just before sunset.  They start working on public flower beds early in the south.

I always know Spring is coming when the irises start to bud in my front flower bed.  They're always so pretty.

The azaleas were the perfect backdrop for my precious nephew (I had to throw one of him in here. :))

I'm always excited when one of our transplanted tulip bulbs takes root and blooms in the Spring.  They're so delicate and lovely.

The same tree in both morning and afternoon light

And the wisteria...I love the wisteria.

It's been a beautiful Spring, and I'm hoping I'll get to re-live Spring a second time in France next week.  It's just beginning to warm up there.
Nurture Photography Challenge - Spring 2013 Edition

  1. The wisteria is beautiful and you captured it well. Love all the images you have shared here. Visiting from the Nurture Photography hop. Wishing you a lovely weekend.

  2. Can't believe I didn't capture any wisteria this spring! These are gorgeous! Really love the 7th photo (with the purple backdrop). So pretty!

    1. Thank you! I really loved that one, too, so light and airy. :)

  3. Lynn! Breathtaking. Way to go, you precious, talented woman.

    I love you so.

  4. I love your variety of flowers! So many beauties in this post!

Thanks so much for sharing these in the Nurture Photography Challenge! I can't wait to see what you come up with for our new theme: Ivory/Dream!

P.S. Sorry for stopping by so late. Unfortunately, there was a death in my family and I just didn't feel up to visiting blogs right away. I hope you'll understand. :)
