A Family Christmas Weekend

It's so exciting to have KJ's parents here at the beginning of December!  Having your parents around makes everything feel warm and familiar, and decorating for Christmas is one of Mama T's favorite things to do, so we are going to do that today!

Here's a little flashback to Christmas 2012.  Babies grow so quickly, and baby Haddon has two new siblings now.

Here's T's Christmas tree in 2011 with a little Kindergartner Ella.  I found a picture of her in 2010 wearing a cowboy hat and eating bacon, but I think she'd get upset if I shared it.

Today we'll pull out the little box of Christmas things we accumulated last year, paper crafts and handmade ornaments, ornaments picked up from around town, and after school we hope to find a tree.  I even have some leftover Christmas crackers from last year.  We'll mix some new traditions with the old and have a grand time.

"Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store.
Maybe Christmas perhaps,
means a little bit more."

from Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas
