KJ's family has a tradition of opening one gift on Christmas Eve. It was usually an exchange of gifts between the siblings, but since this was only a pretend Christmas Eve the kids opened one gift a piece from Big Daddy and T.
Ella had picked out gifts for her grandparents as well.
Big Daddy's gift was a book about the history of golf. Did you know that in 1487 (I think?) the king banned the playing of golf in Scotland because the archers were spending too much time playing the game and not enough time practicing their archery? I didn't know that either.
And for the rest of the month I'll just be taking pictures of out of focus Christmas lights because they're so beautiful.
